about

We are happy to present the most likely final edition Infamous Bootlegs. As you might know we started this series a while ago the idea stays the same we want to create dancefloor-oriented remixes of existing songs.

Leeza created the first track of this VA which uses the vocals from the song "Can We" of the group SWV an american R&B vocal trio whereas the melody of the song was sampled off of a song by Brandy & Monica called "The Boy is Mine". Lentin's track is more house oriented and uses parts of a rather unknown record by Doctor Manhatten which was originally released on Gorgeous Records in 1993. The third song by Mezer is a miami bass kind of remix of Alicia Keys all time classic Feeling U, Feeling Me. Emilio Tranquilo sampled Sheck Wes' "YKTS" to add some vocals in his by footwork inspired track "Thru The Shades". (Mister) Sticktalk sampled parts of a song by Glorilla which you can hear when they shout "Let's Goooo" in the hook. Finally, Chinichi remixed 21 Savage's Runnin' and MadeinTYO's classic Uber Everywhere to create a new song in a genre we like to call fast house.

Also, we would like to inform you that we are not making any money with these bootlegs. As most of you know making a release like this happen is a lot of work and we just want to go even with what we spend on our releases. We do this for the fun of creating remixes of popular songs. If one of these songs affects you in any way, please approach us via mail@pbrecords.de
